Bio: Rev. Wayne Davis is an Ordained Elder in the Tennessee Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He holds a B.A. from Martin Methodist College in Religious Studies and a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School.  In 2005 he was chosen by the World Methodist Organization as a member of the Order of the Flame, which recognizes the top young leaders in Methodism. 

Wayne is 34 years old, married to Betsy, and has two children, Gerry Wayne (7) and Macey (5).

Bio: Rev. Cheryl Wood has been the Minister of Music since February 2004. She oversees the music ministry of the church, assists with pastoral care, coordinates the communion delivery ministry, teaches small-group studies, and preaches occasionally. In 2007, Cheryl was ordained a deacon in full connection in The United Methodist Church. She is a clergy member of the Tennessee Annual Conference. Cheryl holds music degrees in piano performance from Oklahoma Baptist University and The University of Michigan. She completed deacon studies at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. A native of Oklahoma, she has served churches in Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, and Tennessee as organist and minister of music.  She has been the organist for district and conference gatherings of The United Methodist Church. Cheryl is married to Tim Wood, a high school graphic arts teacher; they have two sons, Daniel and Michael.

Bio: Whitney Mitchell is Director of Christian Education with a focus on Youth Ministry. He graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2004 with a B.A. in History with a minor in Germanic Languages. He has also successfully completed the Children’s Ministry Institute and Youth Ministry Institute Phase I offered by the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. Currently, he attends Vanderbilt Divinity School in pursuit of a Master’s of Divinity.

Whitney is married to Michelle and has two children, Thomas (4) and Sarah Adelaide (2).

Bio:Tiffany received a Bachelor's of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Athens State University in 2002. Since that time, she has worked as an entrepreneurial realtor in our community. 

We welcome this valuable experience as Tiffany takes on the role of Director of Children's Ministries at First United Methodist Church. Specifically, Tiffany works with our children from birth to fifth grade. She brings a dynamic to our staff that will expand existing ministries with children, add new exciting ministries, and welcome young families to FUMC. 

Tiffany is married to James Hagood, and they have one son - Jackson (3).

Bio: Brenda Barrett is our Church Administrator.  She has been employed by Pulaski First since December 1985.  In June of 2007, Brenda received her Certification for Church Business Administrator from Emory University in Atlanta.
