Rev. Cheryl Raley Wood has served as the Minister of Music at FUMC, Pulaski, since 2004. She is an ordained deacon and full clergy member of the TN Conference of The United Methodist Church. Before coming to Pulaski FUMC, she served as director of music and/or organist in churches in TN, TX, OK, and MI. She has also been an adjunct music faculty member at Martin Methodist College, Columbia State Community College, and Bartlesville Wesleyan College (now OK Wesleyan University). She holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in piano performance from OK Baptist University and the University of MI, respectively. She completed graduate theological studies at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Cheryl and her husband Tim, a high school teacher and supply pastor, have two adult sons. Their sons and Cheryl’s mother live with them, making a three-generation household. Cheryl enjoys traveling, reading, being at home with her family, and taking pictures with her phone to post on Facebook.

Brenda joined the staff in December 1985 as Office Administrator. She is married to Allen Barrett and together they have two children, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Brenda and her family moved back to Tennessee in 1983 after Allen served in the military for twenty years. While stationed in Columbus, Georgia, Brenda worked with the Muscular Dystrophy Association as office administrator and helped coordinate and run the local Jerry Lewis Telethon for five years. Brenda received her Certification for United Methodist Church Business Administrator from Emory University in 2007.

Sherry has been our Stephen Ministry Coordinator for several years. This ministry provides one-on-one Christian care giving by lay church members trained to be Christian caregivers. Stephen Ministers care for people facing tough times. We all experience challenges in life - times when we could benefit from the support of a caring Christian friend. Stephen Ministers have gone through 50 hours of specialized training and are ready to provide emotional and spiritual care to persons going through difficult times. Adelaide has been volunteering in our church office for many years. We appreciate everything she does for FUMC Pulaski.
Ashley is a native of Giles County. She joined the staff of FUMC Pulaski in September 2016 as our Director of Children's Ministries. Ashley is also a Paralegal/Receptionist for the State of Tennessee. She is married to Matt and they have 3 children, Ali Campbell, Conner, and Coy.
Ashley is extremely creative and always coming up with new ideas and activities for our children. Please feel free to contact her with any ideas or questions you may have.
Rebecca, a native of Pulaski, TN, is our Director of Youth and College Ministries. Rebecca joined the at staff in September of 2016. Prior to becoming the Director of Youth and College Ministries, she volunteered with the youth program. She also conducts our Chancel Choir. Rebecca loves being a part of our youths lives in every channel, but especially through their walks with God.
Rebecca has a daughter, Cadence Sewell. She and her husband moved to Pulaski from Cookeville, TN in 2015. Rebecca loves music, reading, soccer, and spending time with family and youth. Her office door is always open and she is just a quick phone call or text away.

The FUMC Nursery is for children under 3 years of age. Carolyn and Chelsea take great care of the children. Nursery school is provided during Sunday School and Church Services. The Nursery is located in The Growing Tree area.
Terri is the Managing Director of the Growing Tree Nursery School and has a long association with our 60+ year ministry. Terri attended what was then Kindergarten at The Growing Tree, later her own children were students at the school and she began substitute teaching at the program. In January of 1989, she was hired as a full time teacher. Terri began serving as summer interim director and assistant director before becoming full time Managing Director in April of 2004.
Terri and husband, James, have two grown children, J. and Ashley. Terri loves spending as much time as possible with her three grandchildren, Elli Brice, Elam, and Kaylee.
Terri shares that the children’s laughter and hugs have beenher favorite part of the job for her 28 years at The Growing Tree and invites anyone in need of a smile to come by the school for a visit.

Pastor Lee Stevenson is a native of Middle Tennessee and attended Martin Methodist College when she was a two year institution. Called into ministry while serving as Director of Intramural Sports at The University of Tennessee at Martin, Lee has been in ministry since 1998, serving as a youth director and churches in Kentucky, Montgomery County and Wilson County, Tennessee. Lee is married to Judy who serves two churches in Marshall County, TN. They have three children Morgan, Jordan and Katie and a precious boxer dog named Scout. Lee is a passionate cyclist and after moving to Giles county took up hunting, using these quiet times to center and connect to the Lord.
