Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is an annual children's program held at FUMC during the Summer.

VBS provides a fun, open, and exciting atmosphere where kids are invited to learn, deepen, grow and ask questions about their faith. Volunteers of all ages put this on. It is truly an intergenerational event.

This year's VBS theme was Camp Firelight and focused on knowing that God is with us in times of fear.

At VBS, we provide a meal and a themed snack after two rotations of activities. VBS activities include crafts, songs and dancing, bible stories, and games.

To celebrate all that we learned at VBS, Thursday evening this year, we had a water night where we had inflatable water slides and sprinklers. We closed out the night with having a campfire and making S'mores.

Join us next summer for another amazing week of Vacation Bible School. Dates are to be determined. But, we can guarantee that lots of joy and fun will be had!
